Cold • Heat
A thermal “ingredient” technology: a flexible pad that delivers long-duration cryotherapy — up to 3 hours of useful cold per cycle — and switches to heat when the protocol calls for it. Built to integrate into your products.
A flexible pad, quilted into modules of ≈ 46 × 46 mm — dimensions and number of squares made to order.
01The concept
TEMP‑ERA is not trying to become yet another finished-product brand on the market. It is a technology building block — a high-performance thermal core — that you integrate into your own devices, the way an “inside” component works.
You keep your brand, your design and your distribution channels. We bring the temperature and the know-how behind our cryotherapy compound. Your brace, pouch, vest or garment provides the hold and keeps the pad pressed against the treatment area.
TEMP-ERA™ inside
02One pad, two functions
TEMP‑ERA is first and foremost a long-duration cryotherapy technology. And when the protocol moves to a heat phase, the same pad follows — no second consumable.
Vasoconstriction: cold narrows the blood vessels and slows local circulation, helping to reduce heat build-up and swelling. It helps relieve pain and limit the inflammatory response and edema.
A treatment in three phases — a rapid thermal shock that brings the skin below +12 °C, a therapeutic cold held for 1 to 1.5 hours, then a slow rewarming that prolongs the effect. During the cold phase, the cold penetrates 2 to 4 cm into the tissues — well beyond the subcutaneous layer.
Directly on the skin — the compound stays flexible at low temperature (no rigid block) and delivers an even, homogeneous cold with no harsh freezing point. No protective barrier, no special supervision.
Recharge — in the freezer, pad laid flat. Reusable cycle after cycle.
Vasodilation: heat opens the vessels, increases blood flow, relaxes the tissues.
When — for stiffness or muscle tightness, before remobilizing a joint. A gentle, progressive heat with no hot spots.
Recharge — in the microwave, without the cover; the cover goes back on afterwards to hold the heat in.
03The science
A conventional gel stores cold only through a simple drop in temperature, with no phase change. So it burns through its reserve in minutes. No effective cold without a phase change.
TEMP‑ERA harnesses the latent heat of fusion: water trapped in a patented cryotherapy compound freezes in the freezer, then melts gradually in use, massively absorbing the body's heat. The core of the pad stays around 0 °C for hours, and the surface between +5 and +12 °C at skin contact — never below +6 °C (±1 °C).
Melting 1 g of ice at 0 °C absorbs 80 times more energy than cooling it by 1 °C. That is the reserve TEMP‑ERA carries on board.
Two ways to make cold: a uniform block that drifts, or a melting core feeding a controlled gradient.
A conventional gel leaves the useful window in ≈ 30 minutes. TEMP‑ERA™ stays in it for 3 hours.
Illustrative curves — actual duration depends on the conditions of use (ambient heat, intensity of effort).
04The key differentiator
Enough to cover a full protocol — not just its first fifteen minutes. And because the pad is reusable over many cycles, it is also a solid environmental argument against single-use devices.

06Fields of application
Click a field to see the use cases.
Cold in the acute phase, heat as the follow-up — shoulder, hip, knee, ankle.
Cold after exercise, heat to release and prepare the muscles.
Post-procedure comfort on sensitive areas — face, chest, after injections or lasers.
Acute pain, bruising, hematomas — and heat for muscle tightness.
Heat stroke, field injuries, recovery — in training and on operations.
Thermal comfort in hot or constrained environments, recovery after the shift.
The classic protocol — cold in the acute phase, heat before remobilization — covered by a single consumable, integrated into your orthosis.
Extended cryotherapy after surgery, with no special supervision and no risk of cold burn.
Contact cold helps relieve pain and limit inflammation and edema — a drug-free aid in managing acute pain.
The same pad, warmed up, relaxes the tissues and prepares the joint for remobilization.
Skin temperature never below +6 °C (±1 °C): the device goes directly on the skin, even on a patient with limited mobility.
Possible integrations: splints, knee braces, shoulder supports, belts — pads sized to the treatment area.
Long-lasting cold that follows the athlete — no ice cubes, no ice bath, no logistics.
Targeted cryotherapy for quads, calves, shoulders or lower back — up to 3 h of useful cold, even in hot weather.
Simple recharge in the freezer, reusable all season long. No cold chain to improvise.
The compound never hardens: the pad hugs the muscle, in motion or at rest.
Before exercise or in late recovery: release, relax, prepare the muscles.
Possible integrations: sleeves, compression shorts, recovery vests, lumbar belts.
A gentle, constant cold for the aftermath of aesthetic procedures, surgical or not.
Extended post-operative comfort on the most delicate areas.
After injections, lasers or peels: a gentle cold that helps limit redness and swelling.
Contact cold helps limit swelling and marks in the days following the procedure.
Surface between +5 and +12 °C, never below +6 °C (±1 °C) — light, flexible, usable at home without supervision.
Possible integrations: face masks, post-operative bras and supports, anatomical shells.
Contact cryotherapy as a non-invasive, localized approach to acute pain.
Sprains, contusions, bruising, hematomas: long-lasting analgesic and anti-edema cold.
Maxillofacial, postpartum, breast engorgement: a gentle cold applied directly to the skin.
A drug-free pain-relief complement, renewable cycle after cycle.
Muscle tightness, cramps and stiffness: the same pad, warmed up, following the cold.
Possible integrations: compresses, splints, belts, custom supports for practices and care units.
From the training range to the theater of operations: manage heat, recover, treat.
Emergency cooling in the acute phase, in training or on operations — immediate cold, with no risk of burn.
Long-lasting analgesic and anti-edema cold, applicable without supervision during transport or while awaiting evacuation.

Possible integrations: cooling vests, belts, inserts for workwear.
07The model
The “TEMP‑ERA™ inside” B2B licensing program gives you access to a patented cryotherapy compound and the know-how that goes with it. The pad brings the temperature; your product provides the hold and keeps it pressed against the area. Three levels of integration:
You receive the pads and integrate them however you like — brace, pouch, vest, or any other support.
Square size, number of squares, target temperature of the compound: the formulation is tuned to your specifications.
We design the thermal integration directly into your device, together with you.
In practice, a “TEMP-ERA™ inside” partnership includes:
Intel Inside, Gore-Tex, BOA, YKK, Vibram: “ingredient” technologies have built global brands by making one component indispensable. Temperature is ours.
